“I would teach children music, physics, and philosophy; but most importantly music, for the patterns in music and all the arts are the keys to learning”

Private Vocal Coaching

I work with people ages 8 and up desiring to learn how to sing for the first time or to improve their singing abilities using my
4 Foundations approach:
* Physical Technique - breath support, endurance, projection, resonance and diction
* Vocal Accuracy - accurate pitch acquisition and creation, vocal placement, melodic and harmonic mastery
* Message conveyance - communication of song message and emotion consistent to the vocalist and song
* Mental Fitness - performance tools, mistake management, and most of all how to stay “in the pocket” (vocal and physical technique at best, connection to song and audience high, and staying present in the presentation of the song) in a song consistently.

My 4 Foundations approach pulls from traditional Western classical and jazz methodologies and my own study in Eastern classical music methodologies, vocal physiology, and constant study from masters over the last 38 years.

Each client's goals are personal. I work collaboratively with the client to ensure that they are met in the first 2 sessions. Sessions are held weekly for 1 hour.

No singing experience is necessary, although it is welcome - in any genre.

Angela Kristine is a vocal coach, music educator, vocalist, performer, songwriter, and recording artist based in San Luis Obispo, California.
